Thanksgiving is Almost Here

I cannot wait for Thanksgiving. I am wagging my tail and turning in circles just thinking about it. My house will be full. My favorite people will come home. And then they will argue about who I love best, but that's OK because I love them all best. And maybe I'll get some extra snacks.

This is my plan for Thanksgiving:
  • door opens
  • wag tail
  • get hugs
  • long walk to the beach
  • take a swim
  • long bike ride in the woods
  • dinner
  • snacks
  • sleep
  • dreams
  • get more hugs
 It is a  good plan.

It's Halloween. I have the attitude. All I need is the fancy red cape.

There's no need to fear! Wonderdog is here!
when criminals in this world appear
and break the laws that they should fear
and frighten all who see or hear
the cry goes up both far and near
for Wonderdog! Wonderdog! Wonderdog! Wonderdog!
speed of lightning, roar of thunder
fighting all who rob or plunder
Wonderdog! Wonderdog!
when in this world the headlines read
of those whose hearts are filled with greed
who rob and steal from those who need
to right this wrong with blinding speed
goes Wonderdog! Wonderdog! Wonderdog!
speed of lightning, roar of thunder
fighting all who rob or plunder
Wonderdog! Wonderdog!

All you need is love.

And love is all you need. Well, you need water and food and a puppy bed too. This is Nala. She lets me sleep in her bed and eat from her bowl. Now, that's what I call a real friend.

An Al fresco Culinary Experience

I was very excited to see everyone in my family. I didn't even mind eating my dinner in the parking lot.

Walking Forward, Looking Back

When I see my bowl and blanket in the backseat of the car I am happy. I know I am going on a trip and that means a new adventure. Today I went to Grandpa's house and we went on a walk.

There are a lot of things to see when you go for a walk. Today I saw ground hog burrows and squirrel nests and butterflies. I walk in front and make sure no one gets lost. It is a big responsibility.

What is a Puppyful Adventure?

"The best part of a puppy-ful adventure is the puuuuuppy!"

A puppy-ful adventure is going for a walk, getting lost, getting really lost, finding stuff, telling scary stories, and going back home. I learned this from hiding under the kitchen table. I wonder why my people think this is worth singing about, especially since all these adventures took place before I was born.

Actually, I really wish they would take me on a puppy-ful adventure.

Advice on Yoga from Bella K

If you practice enough yoga you might be able to move your paws like this. It took me all summer long to get into this position. I'm also very good at the doggy down, also called "bow to me." My good friends Jazz, Jessie, and Nala invented the "bow to me," so I should give them credit.

I practice yoga everyday. You might want to try it yourself. Yoga is very relaxing. There are a lot of neighborhood cats who sneak into my backyard and even up on my porch. So, I need all the relaxing I can get.

Happy Birthday in Dog Years

Did you ever hear that one human year equals seven dog years? I am not quite two years old in human time, so I must be almost fourteen in dog years.

Anyhow, three of my favorite people are turning 21 tomorrow. That is 147 in dog years. Good thing they are people, not dogs.

Woof! Woof! Woof! Happy birthday.

Welcome to My Blog

My legal name is Isabella, but that is too fancy for a down-to-earth dog like me. So I go by Bella, and all my favorite people call me BellaK, the Wonder Dog.

Now, you may think that my life must be pretty boring. But that is not true. I am a wonder dog and I have exciting adventures almost everyday.
